1. What cookies we use
At present InstaSilver sets no cookies at all. We do not run analytics or advertising tracking on this site today. If that changes, nothing non-essential will be set until you have been asked and have agreed.
The site stores two small pieces of information in your browser's local storage. Neither is a cookie, neither leaves your device, and neither is used to identify or track you:

Both fall within the exemption for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for, or that simply records your own preference. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
2. Analytics and advertising
We intend to add website analytics and advertising measurement. When we do, a consent banner will appear before anything is set, and you will be able to accept, reject, or choose categories individually. Rejecting is a single click and is exactly as easy as accepting.

We use Google Consent Mode, which means Google's tags are told your choice before they load, and are not loaded at all if you decline.
3. Changing your mind
Once a banner is live you can reopen it at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, and change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing is as straightforward as giving it.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and Google offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on that works across all sites.
4. Third parties
Some pages link to external services. Following those links takes you to sites with their own cookie practices, which we do not control:
- Royal Mail tracking, if you follow a tracking link.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used on this site.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, if and when you consent to them.
We do not embed social media widgets, chat tools, session recording, heatmaps or advertising pixels from any other network.
5. Your rights and the law
This policy is written to meet the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR. Under PECR, non-essential storage requires your prior consent, which must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. We do not use pre-ticked boxes, and access to the site is never conditional on accepting anything.

6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our use of cookies changes, and the date at the top will change with it. If we introduce anything requiring consent, you will be asked before it is set rather than told afterwards.
